A 51-year-old woman was killed in Brooklyn Sunday and a suspect in custody is her 58-year-old husband.
Police say they responded to an assault in progress at a home in Canarsie just before noon and found 51-year-old Hazel Robinson unresponsive with severe injuries to her neck.
Robinson was pronounced dead at the home by EMS workers.
Police took Robinson's husband into custody, but have yet to file any charges. Authorities will only say that he is a suspect in his wife's murder.
Distraught family members outside the couple's home said Robinson and her husband had always seemed to get along fine. They had a son together and had one grandchild.
