Two men were shot, one fatally, early Sunday morning in northern Manhattan, police said.
Ernesto Santiago, a 31-year-old Bronx resident, was killed in the shooting in Inwood, investigators said.
Officers responded to a 911 call about a shooting on Post Avenue at about 4:15 a.m. and found Santiago and another wounded man.
Santiago had been shot in the chest and was taken to Montefiore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The other victim, a 33-year-old man who wasn't identified, was shot in the groin and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was reported in stable condition, police said.
No arrest has been made.
