“Real Housewives of D.C.” Canceled

Bravo announced that the D.C. version of the popular franchise is getting the axe, the first of any of the “Housewives” show to get canceled before the second season.

Entertainment Weekly reports
that executives found the cast a little – ahem – proper, especially compared to the table-throwing and weave-tearing that happens on the newly minted “Beverly Hills” version.

“We had an amazing season and we told stories that were unique to any other in the franchise,” Bravo’s excutive vice president told the Washington Post. He passed on well wishes to the housewives, saying he hopes to work with them in the future.

But, we fully expect to see the gate-crashing Salahi couple sneaking onto other “Real Housewives” franchises.
