Vanessa Paradis Denies Split with Johnny Depp

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's partner for 14 years finally breaks her silence over claims the pair are on the outs.

Vanessa Paradis is finally ready to set the record straight.

With the tabloids and the internet running rampant with reports that the French pop star and her famous partner, "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp, had split after a 14 year union that has produced two children (Lily-Rose, age 12, and Jack, age 9), Paradis has broken her silence to put an end to the uproar.

"People say we are buying houses in the middle of nowhere, or that we have fifty two houses in France," Paradis said of the rumors while making an appearance on the French TV program "Grand Journal." "All [the rumors are] not too serious, but this latest one is a rumor which could cause a lot of harm to my family and my children."

"Yes it's false - of course it's false!"

When asked if she pays much attention to the headlines, the 39-year-old quipped, "These magazines end up in the fireplace or the toilet."
