Calling All Tennis Freaks: U.S. Open Looking for Ballpeople

Ever wanted to retrieve balls for tennis superstars at the U.S. Open? Now's your chance.

Eighty sought-after positions as ballpeople for the 2010 U.S. Open are up for grabs. More than 400 people are expected to vie for the coveted slots, so you've got to be on your game.

U.S. Open officials will evaluate contenders on their running, throwing and catching skills.

Who: Ages 14 and older trying out for one of the coolest summer jobs in sports

When: Today, June 24, 4 p.m. Registration line for the general public begins forming at 3 p.m. and the evaluation process will begin at about 4 p.m. after a welcome by U.S. Open Ballperson Director Tina Taps.
