If you’re a fan of amusement park rides and just can’t get enough of the "Tonight Show," here’s great news.
Host Jimmy Fallon announced a new ride at Universal Orlando Resort called “Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
“It’s scary, it’s fun, it’s exciting,” Fallon said on Tuesday.
Fallon compared it to the Harry Potter ride, except that “it’s New York City.”
It’s all very hush-hush, and the host couldn’t elaborate much on what to expect.
Universal Orlando Resort said fans can expect a full “Tonight Show” experience. The resort found inspiration in the celebrity races that have been featured on the late night talk show, according to Jason Surrell, creative director at Universal Creative.
“Since Universal Studios Florida has long been famous for placing guests in the middle of their favorite movies and TV shows, we thought it was a perfect fit,” he said on the resort’s blog.
“It’s fun, and it looks like the studio,” Fallon promised. And there will be smoke and water.
U.S. & World
Thrill seeking fans will have to wait to take the ride. It doesn’t open up until 2017.
