Pistorius to Undergo Month of Psychiatric Tests

Oscar Pistorius will be assessed by a panel of mental health experts daily in an effort to determine what his state of mind was when he killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year, the judge in the case ruled Tuesday, NBC News reported. The Olympic "Blade Runner" will start the 30-day evaluation in Weskoppies Mental Hospital in Pretoria on May 26 as an outpatient, Judge Thokozile Masipa told the court. The trial has been postponed until June 30.
