Expect another few days of uncomfortably hot and steamy weather in the tri-state, with some showers and storms popping up, before cooler temperatures set in and make way for a beautiful weekend, Storm Team 4 says.
Humidity was continuing to rise Tuesday, and it felt like temperatures were in the low 90s by the afternoon. A few pop-up showers and thunderstorms were forming into the evening, and although widespread severe weather is not expected, any shower or thunderstorm has the potential to deliver gusty winds and briefly heavy downpours.
Flash flood warnings and flood advisories are in effect for parts of the tri-state.
