There was a special delivery for the MTA today when a woman gave birth on a bus in Brooklyn -- less than 24 hours after another mom met her bundle of joy on the R train.
In both cases, baby girls were delivered.
This morning, the expectant mom went into labor on the B61 around 10 a.m. A female passenger assisted the woman until medical personnel arrived.
“The blessed event occurred at the intersection of Manhattan and Greenpoint Avenues in Brooklyn," NYC Transit spokesman Paul Fleuranges said.
The R train baby was helped into the world by the train’s conductor, the Daily News reported.
It’s not clear whether this was the first time there have been back-to-back deliveries on the MTA.
