A truck crashed into construction scaffolding in midtown Wednesday morning, causing a portion of the scaffolding to collapse onto the sidewalk, authorities said.
The truck drove up onto the sidewalk and into the scaffolding at West 38th Street around 7 a.m. About 60 feet of scaffolding fell onto the truck and sidewalk, but no one was hurt, officials said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
