Minor Injuries in School Bus Roll-over in Hudson Valley

Four students and a driver were sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a school bus rolled over on its side Tuesday morning in the Hudson Valley, according to state police.

Troopers said the bus carrying 20 students and a driver tipped over at 7:45 a.m. in rural Germantown, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) south of Albany in Columbia County. Four students and the driver were taken from the scene to local hospitals, according to officials.

Another four children were released to their parents for evaluation at local hospitals after being taken to Germantown Central School.

Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
