Two young men assaulted a pharmacy employee after she discovered them trying to steal pints of ice cream in Queens, police said.
The two men tried to steal pints of ice cream in a book bag before they were confronted by an employee at the CVS Pharmacy on Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria.
When confronted, the two men assaulted the employee before taking off on foot empty handed, according to police.
The suspects are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.
