NJ Transit Expects “Normal” Commute

New Jersey Transit expects a "normal" afternoon rush for trains in and out of New York City after a derailment Tuesday forced delays.

Passengers faced a second morning of delays on Wednesday while crews repaired damage caused when two cars of a Trenton-bound train derailed on Tuesday.

Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line trains were up to an hour late. Midtown Direct trains were diverted to Hoboken.

NJ Transit had publicized a normal morning commute on its website before getting word that Amtrak was still making repairs.
