The Giants hosted nearly 400 students, parents and faculty from Sandy Hook Elementary, where a gunman killed 20 first graders and six adults earlier this month.
The group from Newtown, Conn. took part Sunday in a pregame ceremony, forming a path to the field that the Giants and Eagles ran through from the home and away team's tunnels.
The players then held hands with the Sandy Hook survivors, creating a "circle of faith" on the field for the national anthem. A moment of silence was also observed before the game.
Players on both teams exchanged high-fives with the residents, who the Giants said included the family of Jack Pinto, the 6-year-old fan of the Giants who was buried in a No. 80 jersey of Victor Cruz, his favorite player.
During the game, the group from Newtown held signs reading "We Are Sandy Hook," "Sandy Hook: We Choose Love." and "Thank You Giants."
