4 NJ Troopers Help Deliver Baby on Side on Turnpike

State troopers have made a special delivery on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Four troopers helped deliver a baby after an expectant mother's water surprisingly broke while driving south on the turnpike Monday afternoon.

Trooper Robert Ravotto, Detective Jason Kazan, Trooper Robert Ciecwicz and Detective Robert Kilmurray responded to help the woman around 2:45 p.m. in Newark.

Her husband was driving her to the doctor for a check-up. The mom and baby were taken to University Medical Center and police say they are doing well.
