Man Waiting for Bus Attacked, Robbed at Gunpoint: NYPD

A man waiting for the bus on Staten Island was thrown to the ground and attacked and robbed at gunpoint by two men who fled in a car, police say.

The suspects in the incident earlier this month are being sought by authorities, who have released surveillance images of the men.

The 26-year-old victim was waiting for the bus at Edgewater and Bay streets in Rosebank when the two men walked up to him just before midnight on March 1, police said. They grabbed him, threw him to the ground and took his Samsung Galaxy S5 and gray Jordan sneakers.

The suspects then fled in a dark-colored Suburban southbound on Bay Street.

The victim was treated for minor injuries at Richmond University Medical Center.
