1. Heavy Rain to Muck Up Friday's Commute

Traveling for the holidays? Storm Team 4 is tracking a powerful storm that could slow down your trip into Saturday morning.

Showers associated with this system began to dampen parts of the tri-state area by mid-afternoon Thursday, and the weather only worsened over the evening.

The rain will intensify and winds will pick up overnight as the storm tracks over the region, bringing periods of heavy rain and raging winds overnight and through part of the day Friday, Storm Team 4 says.

2. Let's Get This Right: NYC Mayor Reveals Vision for Legal Pot

Mayor de Blasio announced his support for the fair and safe legalization of marijuana and has outlined a plan for how New York City will adapt to the legalization of recreational marijuana, days after Gov. Cuomo announced his plan to push for the measure across the state.

The mayor and wife Chirlane McCray discussed the report released from the mayor's task force on cannabis legalization, months after de Blasio tasked the group in July to "set forth New York City's vision of what legal cannabis should look like here."

The report, "A Fair Approach to Marijuana," was produced by the Mayor's Task Force on Cannabis Legalization, which was convened in July 2018 to identify the goals and challenges that should guide the City’s preparations for potential legalization.

3. Taco Bell Opens Up New NYC Locations That Serve Booze

If you have ever thought the only thing missing from your Doritos Tacos Locos order was a margarita, you are in luck. 

Taco Bell just opened up three Cantinas in Manhattan.

The new locations are in Chelsea, Hell's Kitchen and Midtown and they are basically the same as normal Taco Bells with one big exception -- they serve booze.
