1 Dead in Harlem Motor Vehicle Accident

A man driving a motorcycle was killed in an accident that involved a taxi cab and a tour bus

Police are investigating a deadly motor vehicle accident in Manhattan that left a motorcyclist dead.

 
The accident happened Saturday at around 2:30 p.m at the intersection of West 125th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem.
 
Investigators determined the 26-year-old driver of a taxi cab, traveling east on Lenox Avenue, struck the 62-year-old driver of a Yamaha motorcyle as both approached the intersection.
 
The motorcycle then became pinned against a City Sights tour bus that was stopped at a red light at the location.
 
The driver of the motorcyle was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital. He has not been identified, pending family notification.
 
The drivers of the taxi and the tour bus both remained on the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
