Police are investigating an overnight motorcycle accident in Washington Heights that left one man dead and another critically injured.
Police say a 37-year old man was crossing the street near Amsterdam Avenue and West 167th Street when he was mowed down by a 28-year-old motorcyclist at around 4 a.m. Saturday.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The biker, who was in the company of two other motorcyclists, is in critical condition at Columbia Presbyterian hospital.
