Blisteringly cold winds pushed into the tri-state overnight, creating an icy sheen on streets and sidewalks dampened by lingering snow flurries, Storm Team 4 says.

Another round of flurries could also hit the region on Monday amid gusty winds that could make it feel like the teens and single digits.
And unlike other cold snaps so far this winter, it doesn't look like a warmup is on the way. Tuesday will also be windy but even colder, with highs struggling to escape the 20s. Storm Team 4 says that every other day this week through the weekend will be in the 30s.
