A man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries after fire officials responded to a "small fire" in Brooklyn Tuesday, authorities say.
The FDNY responded to the fire at a building on McDonald Avenue in Borough Park shortly before 2 p.m.
Witnesses said they saw a man on fire run into the street. He appeared to be a construction worker, they said.
