Bad Bounty Hunters Caught with Cocaine: Feds

Caught with 6.6 pounds of cocaine

Two bounty hunters are getting a different look at the bail system after being arrested for possession of nearly seven pounds of cocaine, federal officials said today.

DEA agents said they caught bail enforcement agents Chris Morel and Rensy Adrover with six and a half pounds of cocaine worth at least $300,000.

Investigators recovered documents indicating that both defendants work for Elsa Fugitive Recovery in the Bronx, officials said.

In addition to the cocaine, DEA officials said they also found law enforcement paraphernalia, including a stun gun, a dagger and bullet proof vests. Morel and Androver each could face up to 12 years in prison.
