Fake Cops Rob 14-Year-Old Boy at Bronx Subway Station: NYPD

Police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a 14-year-old boy at a Bronx subway station while pretending to be cops. 

The suspects approached the boy at the 6-line Whitock Avenue station in Longwood at about 4:15 p.m. Thursday, May 7, according to police. 

They identified themselves as police officers and told the boy he had committed a violation, police said. They demanded he empty his pockets, and one of the suspects showed a gun and stole the items from the boy's pockets while the other suspect snatched his chain. 

They then fled the station.
