A pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 80 in New Jersey early Tuesday morning, state police said.
The person was struck just after midnight on the eastbound side of I-80, near mile marker 55.2 in Totowa.
New Jersey State Police said that I-80 eastbound was closed for a time at exit 53 as a result of the crash.
