A 36-year-old man was found dead at the bottom of a staircase leading to a basement at a Brooklyn home Tuesday, police say.
The man was found lying upside down on his head at the bottom of a staircase leading to a basement on Union Avenue in Williamsburg at about 2 p.m., police said.
The man, who had severe neck and head trauma, was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine a cause of death.
A neighbor told News 4 the victim worked in the deli across the street.
