1. Man's Racist Tirade Outside NYC Bar Goes Viral, Gets Him Fired

Another racist rant in New York City has gone viral. 

A 29-year-old real estate agent is seen in the unloading on a bouncer outside a Brooklyn bar last week after he claimed the bouncer punched him before the camera started rolling. 

The man has since been fired by his real estate company and banned from the venue. 

Reacting to the news, the bouncer told the New York Post that "a conversation would do more good than firing someone."

2. Dog Headed to Newark with Family Found Dead After Delta Flight

There are a lot of unanswered questions after a family's dog died on a Delta flight to Newark over the weekend. 

The Pomeranian named Alejandro was found dead in his carrier in a cargo facility during a transfer stop, but the family says the dog was healthy when he arrived at the airport in Phoenix. Delta says it is investigating. 

It is the second time this year a dog has died while in the hands of an airline.

3. Straphangers Leap Onto Subway Seats to Escape Commuting Rat

What's worse than a crowded subway train? How about a rat on a crowded subway train?

The Instagram account Subway Creatures posted a video of New Yorkers absolutely losing it when a rat got on an L train last week. Some people even stood up on benches as the rodent commuters scurried around the car. 

Let's just hope he swiped his MetroCard.
