    Police Probe String of Armed Gas Station Robberies in NJ

    Authorities say they are looking for two men in connection with several gas station robberies in Newark Friday morning. At least one of the suspects was armed. Checkey Beckford reports. (Published Friday, Dec. 18, 2015)

    Police are investigating a string of armed gas station robberies in Newark.

    Authorities say they are looking for two men in connection with several robberies Friday morning. At least one of the suspects was armed.

    Surveillance video from one of the robberies shows a black Infiniti driver into an Exxon gas station on McCarter Highway, pull up behind an SUV near the attendant's booth and then one passenger gets out and robs the attendant at gunpoint.

    The robber gets back in the car and the Infiniti takes off. 

    The pair is believed to be driving a black vehicle that was seen fleeing the scene of several robberies.
