Bronx Beauty Salon Robber Sought

Police released clear surveillance video Tuesday of the suspect in action

A man has been robbing beauty salons in the Bronx, threatening women with a gun before running away with cash, cell phones, and jewelry, police said.

The robberies happened March 11, March 13 and March 21, at beauty salons at 111 Southern Blvd., 727 Pelham Pkwy., and 2433 Jerome Ave., respectively.

In all three incidents, the suspect walked in, showed a gun and demanded victims' property, police said.

Police released surveillance video Tuesday of one of the armed robberies, showing a clear image of the suspect. He's described as about 25 to 35 years old, and 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall. He has tattoos on both forearms.
