Woman Struck, Killed By Stolen, Speeding Minivan

Police seek men who abandoned vehicle

Police are looking for the driver of a stolen vehicle that struck and killed a woman in Brooklyn.

An eyewitness estimated that the minivan was driving possibly as fast as 100 mph on Mother Gaston Boulevard as it was being pursued by police Monday night.

Stacey Blount, 45, had two young girls with her when she was saying a quick hello to friends at a hair salon before she was struck.

Police found the stolen vehicle a few blocks away, abandoned by the two men accused of stealing it. Those men were nowhere to be found.
