What You're Doing Tonight, 6/4

Art Brut rocks Mercury Lounge, Guillermo del Toro sells you his vampire book, and you get tipsy for $0

ART FOR ART'S SAKE: Art-wave anglo-kraut rockers Art Brut live to confound and surprise, and you can expect a lot of both at Mercury Lounge tonight, as frontman Eddie Argos & Co. take the stage for the penultimate night of their run. Bone up on ther latest sound with a spin of the just-released disc Art Brut vs. Satan, produced by the Pixies' Frank Black. 7PM.

FANGS AGAIN: In case you missed Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan signing copies of their epic vampire novel The Strain at midnight last night (it was well past our bedtime, that's for sure), the fearsome twosome pops up again at the Union Square Barnes & Noble tonight at 7PM.

SAUCY: Whatever you wind up doing tonight, wouldn't it be greatly enhanced by a few complementary cocktails at Hudson Terrace? Metromix is buying. This (very) happy hour runs from 5-6PM; rsvp by 3PM to partake.
