Shakespeare In The Park Lineup Announced

Cue the predawn ticket lines: the Public Theater announced this summer's Shakespeare in the Park productions today. Arts Beat reports that the Bard's "Measure for Measure" and "All's Well That Ends Well" are in the works for the upcoming season at the al fresco Delacorte. The pair of marital "problem plays" will run from June 6 through July 31st.

"Measure for Measure" will be directed by Daniel Sullivan, of last summer's Al Pacino-starring "Merchant of Venice" revival. David Esbjornson (currently working on Broadway's "Driving Miss Daisy') will direct "All's Well That Ends Well." As always, tickets are free, so all you have to invest in is a lawnchair for that queue.
