Yves Saint Laurent's Partner Yanks Portraits Out of Paris Exhibition

Yves Saint Laurent.

Portraits of Yves Saint Laurent taken by Andy Warhol will no longer be featured in an exhibition called "The Great World of Andy Warhol" at the Grand Palais in Paris. The exhibit was divided by theme, with the YSL portraits hung in the "Glamour" section with other designers. But Pierre Bergé was having none of that. He wanted the paintings hung in the "Artists" section, and so he pulled them from the show. [NYT]
