In response to earlier rumors, Five Guys says that it ended up backing out of negotiations for the Busy Chef space (incidentally, Brooklyn Heights Blog published a none-too-flattering bio of Daniel “Busted Chef” Kaufman today). The chain is now looking at locations near Metrotech and the Fulton Mall, as well as in Cobble Hill and Fort Greene. [Brooklyn Paper]
