The Hollywood Reporter tells us that after ten years below ground, trying-to-stay-relevant music network VH1 will unearth one of two shows that we ever cared about: Pop-Up Video (see also: Behind The Music). The show's co-creator Woody Thompson will serve as executive producer to make sure all those pop-ups are informative or snarky enough.
Turns out, Thompson's been feeling a little spiteful towards Twitter as an incubator for snarky commentary -- but that won't stop the show from bringing in social media as a launchpad for user-generated content.
Can't you just hear the pop-up sound already?
