Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk
The Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk is a self-guided artist open studio tour featuring exhibitions, public art projects, special events, with local businesses hosting a range of artwork and events. Visitors can enjoy exhibits, view and buy work, meet the artists, and sample Brooklyn restaurants, shops, and bars at their own pace. There will be live music and activities for families and children of all ages. All events free and open to the public. Click here for the ArtWalk09 tour map.
Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7. 1-6 p.m. Atlantic Avenue from 4th Avenue to Hicks Street.

Brooklyn International Film Festival
The 12th Annual Brooklyn International Film Festival begins this weekend. The Festival will present over 120 film premieres that were selected over 2,786 submissions coming from 111 countries. The films will be combined in 81 film programs and each film will be shown twice. The Festival will operate two screening rooms side by side.
Starts tonight and runs through June 14. $10-100. Brooklyn Heights Cinema, 70 Henry Street.

Brooklyn Flea
This week, the Brooklyn Flea takes place outdoors in Ft. Greene on Saturday only; there's no Flea in Dumbo this Sunday as we prepare for the launch of the Brooklyn Bridge Flea next Sunday, June 14.
Saturday, June 6. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, Lafayette Avenue between Clermont and Vanderbilt Avenues.
