2008 5M Turkey Trot
Celebrate Thanksgiving with the Prospect Park Track Club. The Turkey Trot is an annual Brooklyn tradition. The race starts and finishes near the Oriental Pavilion, off the Park’s Lincoln Road entrance. Race day registration is 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Wollman Skating Rink, off the East Drive.
Thursday, November 27. Race starts at 9 a.m. If you register on the day of the race, $25.

Transportation Town Hall Meeting
Councilman David Yassky and State Senator-elect Daniel Squadron will be hosting a Transportation Town Hall meeting. Representatives from the Department of Transportation and MTA will be there to answer community questions and concerns. Go and tell your elected officials about your transportation needs.
Tonight. 6 p.m. Swinging Sixties Senior Center, 211 Ainslie Street.

Community Board 9 Meeting
CB 9 is having their monthly meeting. On the agenda is representatives of the United States Postal Service will do a presentation on the services for the holidays and public hearings on zoning applications. If you have any concerns or problems, go to the meeting and speak your mind.
