Fort Greene Association General Meeting
FGA's General Meeting is entitled "The BAM Cultural District: Arts and Jobs–Take Advantage of the Opportunity." Learn about the changes and opportunities happening within the BAM Cultural District and other parts of the neighborhood. On the agenda, Jamie Butler from Stop BHOD will be on hand to discuss the latest efforts to stop the Mayor’s proposed expansion of the Brooklyn House of Detention and Hugh Hardy, principal of H3 Architects, will be on hand to talk about BAM’s renovation of the former home of the Salvation Army at 321 Ashland Place into a unique 263-seat theatre and community-use facility. The public is welcome to attend this meeting.

Red Hook Town Hall Meeting on Public Housing
The Red Hook Town Hall Meeting will provide an opportunity for the residents of Red Hook Houses East and West to meet with New York City Housing Authority Chairman Ricardo Elias Morales and learn NYCHA’s plans for preserving the Red Hook Houses and their programs. Local community organizations will also be attending with information about their programs and services.

Southside Williamsburg Community Committee Meeting
Council Member Diana Reyna, El Puente, Community Board Member Esteban Duran, and Open Space Alliance invite the public to this community committee meeting to share ideas about improving the parks of Williamsburg's Southside.
