For spring, the always-chic Som channeled a preppy kind of girlishness -- lots of striped cardigans, striped pencil skirts, '50s florals and full miniskirts.
Som's clothes were, as ever, perfectly polished, though we were happy to see that there was a noticable dose of playfulness in the designer's mood for spring. The colors were absolutely eye-popping, for one -- bright orange, red, and acqua, mixed with candy-colored pumps. Plus, some of the print-mixing was positively ingenious -- much like Rodarte, Som seemed to be employing a little bit of recession chic mix-and-match what's in your closet, combining stripes, florals, colors, and more.
