We’re already in deep love with the Midtown Lunch blog, seeing how its saved us more than once from the wasteland of overpriced biz-district meals, and now we have reason to fall harder: On the new Twitter Tracker page, you can check out updates from favorite restaurants, joints and trucks, from Wafels & Dinges to Rickshaw Dumplings.

Why is this useful, you ask? First, it helps you locate members of the eat fleet (the LCBBurger Truck just tweeted that “We’re on 47th between Park & Lex today”). Second, it gives you menu info (Cer Té’s “Lunch Recommendation: Glazed Sirloin w. Crispy Onions Sandwich”). And finally, your workday would get so much better if you knew that Street Sweets was “sampling several of our cookies this afternoon at 12:30p. Our sweet spot is 55th b'tween Park & Madison.” Right?
