Pan Seared Salmon with Fennel Seeds
1 lb salmon, cubed
1/2 cup fennel seeds
2 teaspoons corn oil
soy sauce

Cube the salmon and put one toothpick in each cube.  Heat two teaspoons of flavorless oil, corn or canola, in a heavy pan.  Dip the bottom of each salmon cube into the fennel seeds.  Sear the bottom of the salmon for 1 to 2 minutes until the bottom is brown.  Plate with a side of soy sauce for dipping.
