Megastorm Patricia, once a monster hurricane, lashed parts of the Mexican coast before weakening to a tropical storm Saturday and bringing bands of heavy rain to already waterlogged Texas.
For those seeking to help, the following charities are accepting donations for disaster relief efforts in the wake of Patricia:

Services changed for Patricia:
AT&T is not charging fees for calls or texts to Mexico from the U.S., Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands through Nov. 5.
"It is our hope that family members can quickly connect with loved ones in the region as soon as possible," the company said in a statement, which added that its wireless customers can donate $10 to relief efforts by texting ‘MEXICO’ to 80108.
