Vance Cancels Party After Madam Threatens to Crash

The Manhattan Madam is too hot to handle for one would-be politician.

Manhattan district attorney candidate Cy Vance scrapped his plans for a fundraiser with Eliot Spitzer at the luv guv's posh Fifth Avenue digs after infamous hooker booker Kristin Davis threatened to crash the party.

"Cy decided that what was supposed to be a small get-together had grown into something that was beginning to overshadow the important issues in this race, like community-based justice and much-needed court reform," Vance's campaign manager, Michael DeLoach, told the New York Daily News.

Kristin, who set up the former governor with call girls, whined that it wasn't fair she had to serve three months in jail while the ex-governor got to walk -- and she wanted to see what the DA wanna-be had to say.

"Does [Vance] think it is fair and equitable that a rich, well-connected white man violated the law but avoided prosecution while and 'up-from-nothing' entrepreneurial woman did hard time on Rikers?" she asked the New York Post.

Davis said she planned to host a press conference outside Spitzer's swank soiree.
