Pedestrians Struck by Driver in Brooklyn

Police are investigating a home invasion in Avon.

Four pedestrians were hospitalized Tuesday after being struck by a car in Brooklyn, authorities said.

Police say the driver of an Acura struck the four victims on 95th Street between Third and Fourth avenues in Bay Ridge after 3 a.m. on New Year's Day.

One victim was listed in critical condition, and three others were treated for minor injuries.

The car's driver and passenger were arrested at the scene, and charges are pending.

Investigators said they are trying to determine if alcohol was involved in the accident.
