Spike Lee to Attend Brooklyn Blogfest in June

Spike Lee will be a Brooklyn's Blogfest.
Filmmaker Spike Lee will be attending this year's Brooklyn Blogfest, event creator and founder of Only The Blog Knows Brooklyn Louise Crawford announced today on the blog.
The fifth annual Brooklyn Blogfest will take place June 8th at the Brooklyn Lyceum. It commemorates the borough that Crawford called "front and center in the world of blogging."
Aside from Lee's appearance, Brooklyn-based hip-hop artist Lemon Andersen will perform at the event. Some of the more prominent Brooklyn bloggers will lead small-group training and discussion centers. Another program event, "the Shout Out," will also give up-and-coming bloggers a space to publicize their own blogs.
Spike Lee, one of Brooklyn's favorite sons, was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but moved to Fort Greene at a young age.
Pre-registration for the Brooklyn Blogfest is available online, and attendance is free.
