Body Found in NJ Trunk

Dallas police are going to crack down on criminals this summer.

Police in northern New Jersey responding to a report of a car parked in the woods discovered a body in the trunk.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said a person walking near the wooded area in the town of Lincoln Park flagged down a police officer at about 8 a.m. Thursday to report seeing the vehicle.

Police found a 1996 Toyota Camry with New York plates. On further inspection, they discovered a man who appeared to be in his 20s or early 30s dead in the trunk.

The victim has not been identified. The Morris County Prosecutor's Office was performing an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
