NYC Man Posts Emotional Video Seeking Biological Family

A Bronx man posted an emotional plea for help on Facebook in a last-ditch effort to end the 45 year search for his biological family.

Jordan Christopher says he was abandoned as an infant in the Sedgwick housing project in the Bronx in October 1971.

He was raised by an adopted mother in Jamaica, Queens, and has had no contact with any of his biological family, other than his seven children, he said.

He told NBC 4 New York that he had a good life after being adopted, but he still wants to meet his family.

"There's something about knowing where you came from," he said.

Christopher’s emotional plea for help had been viewed more than 15,000 times by Wednesday afternoon.

Christopher -- who doesn't even know his real birthday -- said on the video he posted it as a last resort.

“It’s heavy. It weighs. It weighs on my back,” Christopher said through tears in the video.

“I have no leads. I don’t know what to do except for this. This is a last resort.”
