A cab driver was slashed in the face by three suspects early Thursday morning in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, police said.
The three men were in the back seat of the cab as it pulled up to North 5th Street and Wythe Avenue when one of them reached to the front seat and slashed the cabbie on the forehead, authorities said.
They then fled the car, police said. The driver called police but refused medical attention at the scene, authorities said.
The three suspects were taken into custody by police a short time later, but they first managed to rob a man on Marcy Avenue near Havemeyer Street, police said. Charges against them are pending.
