Man Injured in Baseball Bat Beating, Robbery on Long Island: Police

Police are looking for two men who hit another man on the head with a baseball bat in a robbery Sunday on Long Island.

The men walked up to the 32-year-old victim and started hitting him with the bat at East Fulton Avenue and Babylon Turnpike in Roosevelt around 4:30 a.m., police said.

The victim fell to the ground and the suspects took his cell phone, cash, credit cards and license. They fled on foot northbound on Babylon Turnpike.

The victim sustained lacerations and contusion to the head and face, and he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
