2 Women Found Shot Dead After Chinatown Fire

The fire broke out on the first floor of a seven-story building

Two women were found shot dead, both in the head, after a fire ripped through the first floor of a Chinatown building Friday.

One woman was in her 50s and the other was in her 70s, police said.

The women were found at 83 Henry St., a seven-story building.

Chief Mike McPartland from the FDNY said Friday the fire remains under investigation, and both the NYPD and FDNY are "looking at all aspects of the fire."

Police and fire marshals are investigating.
