An Upper East Side high school was locked down Tuesday after a report of a gun in a bathroom, and a student was later arrested for allegedly bringing a BB gun to the building.

Life Sciences Secondary School on East 96th Street was put on alert around midday, the DOE said.

Police were called to the school, and the student was found with the loaded gun.
